In the Supermarket...
Me: (prancing about the supermarket, snapping pictures of fruits that look too good to be real, and smiling myself silly... like there is no freaking tomorrow)
Leslie (my colleague): Amelia, why are you so happy?
Me: I don't know! Food makes me happy!!!! (prances around somemore...)
Leslie: (has a baffled look on his face)
Me: lalala! (buys a packet of milk coffee, pastry, sushi bento, and Japanese fried rice)

Daddy Driver
While driving around in a god-forsaken industrial area this morning...
Me: Yup, this is the building, dad. You can just drive in.
Dad: Are you sure?
Me: Yes I think so.. I'm a staff of the company! Sure they'll let us in.
Security Guard: Sorry this place does not open till 9.
Me (silently): Damnit!
Dad: Uncle! Any coffee shops nearby?
Security Guard: Yes, down the road.
Dad: Okay, let's have breakfast.
Me: Okay... Erm, dad? Are you free to wait with me? Do you have other things to do?
Dad: I'm free.
Me: Oh in that case, can you drop me in town next so I can get my uniform tailored?
Dad: Tsk! 死女包! (hahaha.. This is such a classic Cantonese reaction. I don't know how to explain the meaning of "死女包!".. but my dad always calls me that especially when I annoy or irritate him. I'm his spoilt little princess, and forever daddy's little girl. Fathers! They'd do anything for their daughters :D I love my daddy!! )
ME: HAHAHAHAHA! Please?
Dad: No. Get your mom to go with you!!!
