Yes, I know. Another post on London. Is this the only place I ever go to?? Well, to be honest, London is the only place I’ve been to more than say, hmm, 5 times? Well, I don’t mind and I’m not complaining. London is the sort of place where you can visit over and over again, and not get bored with. I mean, of course, if you bother to visit ever nook and corner there is. It is the kind of place where the more you visit, the more you like it, and the more you wonder what else is there to discover.
This time, I decided on a “Park” theme. As most of us would know, London is the place for parks. Be it Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park or St. James Park, each has its own unique qualities. Why did I decide on walking the parks? It’s mostly because I wanted to see the Peter Pan Statue in Kensington Gardens. I figured, having been there so many times, and staying at a hotel so close to the gardens, I’ve only been there like twice and both times, I missed out on seeing the statue. Why did I want to see Peter Pan? It’s really funny why, though. A few months ago I saw the movie “Finding Neverland” (yes, only now did I get to catch the movie.. talk about being SLOW), and got inspired to find the statue. I’m also a very park sort of person so being close to greenery and nature is really something awesome for me.
Then of course I just had to catch a musical. Remember how I once mentioned that after Sound of Music, I’d like to see Lion King or We will Rock You? Looks like I have to postpone them till my next trip cos’ this time, I caught Wicked. It’s absolutely the best thing ever and I don’t regret seeing it. IT IS A MUST-SEE! I SWEAR! You will love it, I promise you.
So begins another photo journal of London. I hope you like it. (It seems like I’ve been posting more photos than drawings… anyway to be frank, i haven’t been drawing much either. So it will be photos for now. I hope to post some pictures taken by my lomo but I have yet to send them for developing.. I do wish they turn out well! ;) )
